The cats are referred as the nocturnal animals, which can see well in the deep dark but, it is unable to view the prey or the objects in the complete darkness. The newborn kitten gets their full night vision ability after three weeks.
The cat’s eyes have the anatomic functionality, to enrich the night vision. The cat eyes are usually affixed with the elliptical pupils for the vertical orientation, to allow the pupil become large in size, for viewing the objects in dark, when compared to the human pupil size. This larger size of the pupil is the main reason to let more lighting, to enhance the cat’s night vision in the deep dark.
