Ortho–K is a specially designed gas permeable contact lens which can be worn during the night time. It plays a significant role in improving the vision of the eyesight in low light conditions.  Also, it performs well during sleep, as well as, after wake up.

At the time of sleeping, it helps to reshape the front position of the eyes and after wake up, you can see the clear view of the image.  However, the ortho-k lens requires more time to set than the regular contact lenses. It can be also used by the persons suffering from the mild to moderate myopia.
